College of the Atlantic

Founded in 1969, COA has been remowned for its environmental studies and marine science. It is also one of only a small number of colleges in this country dedicated to the teaching of natural history – a study of nature in its ecological and evolutionary context, with lots of outdoor, hands-on instruction. They also offer any AIO student who does well in our program (and receive a recommendation saying so) a $10,000 per year scholarship to COA. Well worth checking out!
